Usage
1. Medium Carbon Steel (0.25%-0.60% C)
• Mechanical Components
Gears, shafts, connecting rods, and sleeves. After quenching and tempering (调质处理), these parts achieve a balance of high strength and toughness.
• Wear-Resistant Parts
Components requiring surface hardening, such as gears and splined shafts, are treated with surface quenching to enhance wear resistance.
2. High Carbon Steel (>0.60% C)
• Tools and Molds
Drills, taps, reamers, and springs (e.g., valve springs, leaf springs). Quenching + medium-temperature tempering optimizes hardness and elasticity
